Allana Group started operating since April 2018 with Africa’s largest integrated meat complex under the name FRIGORIFICO BORANFOODS PLC, spread over 75 hectares with ultra-modern slaughter, dressing and export packing facilities for meats of Bovine, Sheep &Goat livestock. Our Group’s second abattoir is a pride of Ethiopia’s meat sector, with most modern technology and facilities for producing best quality meat in chilled, vacuum (chilled) packed and frozen category. We have a world-class, in-house quality control laboratory for microbiological and chemical testing of the finished product. These facilities also have processing technology for vacuum packing of meat and variety meat products. Facility also comply with international norms of Standard Operating Processes and food safety standards with strict implementation of ISO 9001:2008 for Quality Management, ISO 22000:2005 for Food Safety Management Systems.
