Frigorifico Boran Foods PLC export abattoir is located in out skirt of Adami Tulu town, Oromia Regional State which was established in 2015 under the Allana group of Indian citizen ownership. This abattoir, with a registration number 019/2017, is a modern state of art with a capacity of 103,333 ton of chilled/frozen sheep and goat carcass, quartered/deboned beef and offals annually to GCC countries including Vietnam, Bangladesh and Azerbaijan. It is the largest complex abattoir in Africa, and one of the best Export abattoirs in production and export with ISO 22000:2005 FSMS and ISO 9001:2008 Quality management Certifications, and Halal product certification.
